About Jennifer Margulis
Jennifer Margulis writes about travel and culture for the New York Times, the Washington Post, More magazine, O Magazine, and dozens of other magazines and newspapers. Her cover story forSmithsonian magazine was included in BEST AMERICAN SCIENCE WRITING and she has been awarded the highly prestigious Fulbright fellowship. A dynamic and interesting speaker, she has appeared live on prime-time TV in Paris, France, and been invited to speak in Niger, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, and across the United States. She has a B.A. from Cornell University, a Masters degree from U.C. Berkeley and a Ph.D. from Emory University. Though she travels frequently, she is always happy to return to Ashland, Oregon, where she lives with her husband and four children.
